The tape is also well suited for paint masking applications that require long, straight paint lines. Featuring a smooth paper backing, it combines strength, heat resistance, consistent unwind, and hand-tearability for efficient application. For high-temperature applications, 3M™ 2525 withstands temperatures up to 300°F (149°C) for up to one hour.
