The adhesive provides strong adhesion to a wide range of surfaces, including challenging substrates such as painted metal and rubber. Designed for demanding spray painting applications, the tape is hand tearable, easy to remove, and resistant to wet sanding. Paints and fillers adhere well to the backing, helping deliver clean, professional results. tesa® 5010 is designed to perform reliably throughout subsequent oven-drying cycles at temperatures up to 212°F (100°C) for up to 60 minutes. Its high tear resistance helps ensure clean, one-piece removal. In addition to performance painting applications, it is also well suited for general masking tasks such as holding, sealing, securing, and color coding.
