Its smooth, highly conformable backing easily adapts to curved surfaces while helping create sharp, precise paint lines. The backing also provides excellent paint and filler adhesion, reducing the risk of paint flaking or lifting during tape removal. The natural rubber adhesive offers excellent quick stick for secure mask positioning, strong adhesion, and clean, residue-free removal, even after multiple drying cycles. Designed to withstand oven-drying temperatures up to 248°F (120°C) for up to 40 minutes, the tape supports as many as six drying cycles while maintaining reliable performance. With up to 7 days of UV resistance, tesa® 4338 also allows for short-term outdoor storage of masked parts and assemblies.
