tesa® 4309 is a high-temperature masking tape constructed with a finely creped paper backing and a natural rubber adhesive. Its conformable and flexible design makes it ideal for spray painting applications with subsequent oven-drying processes up to 248°F (120°C) for one hour. The tape provides excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces, including metal, rubber, glass, and plastic, while remaining resistant to wet sanding. Paints and fillers, whether water-based or solvent-based, adhere well to the backing to help prevent paint flaking and ensure clean paint lines. Following the drying process, tesa® 4309 removes cleanly without tearing or leaving adhesive residue. It is an excellent choice for automotive body repair and other professional masking applications.
