It is commonly used as a closure system for foil faced fiberglass and mineral wool insulation systems as well as sealing seams and joints on aluminum faced fiberglass duct board.

TapeCase Aluminum Foil Scrim Tape TCFSK is a three-way, dead-soft malleable tape constructed of aluminum foil, fiberglass scrim, and kraft paper coated with an aggressive synthetic rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive on a removable paper release liner.
