TapeCase K-1MIL is a 1 mil DuPont™ Kapton® HN film coated with a high temperature silicone adhesive, providing excellent thermal and electrical insulating properties. It is used for high temperature PCB masking and electrical insulation applications where puncture resistance, extreme heat resistance, and flame retardant performance is required.

TapeCase K-1MIL Kapton Polyimide Tape features a 1 mil DuPont™ Kapton® HN film coated with a high temperature silicone adhesive, designed for demanding masking and electrical insulating applications where extreme heat resistance and flame retardant performance are required. It provides excellent mechanical and electrical properties, along with dimensional stability in harsh environments. The Kapton® film backing is thin and highly conformable, while offering strong resistance to cut through, impact, and abrasion. Engineered to withstand temperatures up to 500°F (260°C), K-1MIL maintains reliable adhesion and removes cleanly after exposure to heat and chemicals. This tape is widely used in electronics, electrical, automotive/EV, and aerospace industries where dependable performance is critical.
