TapeCase Polyimide Tape with Acrylic Adhesive BA is a 1 mil polyimide film tape coated with a silicone-free acrylic adhesive, offering excellent electrical insulation, mechanical strength, and reliable thermal performance at temperatures up to 311°F (155°C). The polyimide backing provides high dielectric strength and outstanding resistance to abrasion, punctures, and tearing while remaining thin and highly conformable. The acrylic adhesive delivers high initial tack and strong adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces. Because it is silicone-free, BA eliminates the risk of silicone contamination in applications where silicone-based adhesives may interfere with sensitive manufacturing processes. This is particularly important in electronics, high-temperature, and vacuum environments, where trace silicone residue can contribute to electrical failures, coating defects, or component malfunctions. TapeCase BA is designed to deliver dependable performance in demanding industrial and electronics applications. The BA series meets MIL-P-46112B and ASTM D5213, Type 1, Item A specifications.
