3M 8087 Red Moisture Barrier Tape

3M™ Construction Seaming Tape 8087 is a polypropylene seaming tape coated with an acrylic adhesive used in the construction industry to provide extra protection against moisture and air infiltration. Wide temperature range performance, use Construction Seaming Tape to seal seams on housewrap and insulated sheathing products in order to improve the effectiveness of insulation and reduce heating and cooling costs. 3M 8087 provides a low moisture vapor transmission rate; works well to seal polyethylene vapor barriers preventing water vapor from causing poor insulation performance and other moisture related problems. Tape remains flexible even for cold temperature applications, use to repair holes and tears in housewrap, insulated sheathing products and polyethylene vapor barrier building products.
