3M™ Double Coated Tissue Tape 56412 is an acrylic, 120 micron-thick multipurpose tissue tape on a poly-coated kraft (PCK) liner, designed for high-performance bonding applications. Its tissue carrier provides dimensional stability and improved handling, making die-cutting and laminating easier. Engineered for durable, versatile adhesion, this translucent tape delivers high tack and strong bonding performance across a wide range of materials, including low surface energy and other hard-to-bond substrates. It also offers excellent low-temperature performance and conformability to curves and uneven surfaces, making it an ideal choice for demanding bonding applications.

3M™ 56412 is manufactured by a solvent-free adhesive coating process. While offering features like improved clarity compared to traditional 3M™ Double Coated Tissue Tapes, this process also helps eliminate the emission of solvents and the need for solvent recovery, as well as requiring less energy use as opposed to solvent-based coating technology.
