3M 4726 Vinyl Foam Tape

3M™ Vinyl Foam Tape 4726 is a black, 1/16” thick, closed cell, medium-density vinyl foam backing that includes an acrylic adhesive with good quick stick to a variety of surfaces. It offers good aging characteristics and will remain flexible when exposed to elevated temperatures and UV light. The vinyl foam tape is designed for demanding gasketing, cushioning, damping and insulating applications.

3M™ Vinyl Foam Tape 4726 is a black, 1/16” (62 mil) thick, closed cell, medium-density vinyl foam backingcoated on one side with an acrylic adhesive. The acrylic adhesive provides good quick-stick to a variety of substrates, including many metals, glass and plastics. Designed for demanding gasketing, cushioning, damping and insulating applications, the vinyl foam helps seal out dust, light and moisture when placed under 30% compression.

3M™ 4726 offers good aging characteristics and will remain flexible when exposed to elevated temperatures and UV light. The conformable foam and adhesive combine to provide reliable performance on curved, irregular, and uneven surfaces. The silicone treated white paper liner allows for die cutting without having to laminate another liner to the foam.

3M™ Single Coated Vinyl Foam Tape Series 4700 is available in three thicknesses: 62 mil, 125 mil, and 250 mil.
