3M™ 1318-1B is a black, 2.5 mil thick tape composed of a 1 mil polyester film backing coated on one side with a non-corrosive acrylic adhesive. Designed for continuous operation not exceeding 130°C (266°F) per UL listing, it provides excellent resistance to chemicals, solvents, and moisture, along with strong cut-through and abrasion resistance. The tape also exhibits excellent flagging characteristics for insulating applications requiring a thin, durable solution.
