3M™ 1280 Circuit Plating Tape is a red, puncture resistant polyester film with a blended silicone and rubber adhesive designed to perform well in all phases of masking operations during printed circuit board production and repair, as well as, other high temperature masking and surface protection applications. The unique adhesive reduces adhesive transfer to printed wiring boards. Use in the circuit board fabrication process as a protective masking tape during the electroplating process; the polyester circuit plating tape reduces stretch and recovery of tape and associated uneven stop-off lines.
