KHN-1 Kapton® Film is a 1 mil thick, Kapton® HN general-purpose polyimide film designed for insulating applications requiring an excellent balance of physical, chemical, and electrical properties over a wide temperature range. Its outstanding dielectric strength and resistance to heat, chemicals, tearing, punctures, and abrasion make it ideal for demanding electrical and industrial applications.

With service temperatures ranging from -452°F (-269°C) to 752°F (400°C), it performs reliably in demanding environments. Kapton® HN offers excellent dielectric strength and resistance to tearing, punctures, abrasion, and a wide range of chemicals. It can be laminated, metallized, punched, formed, or adhesive coated, making it a highly versatile material for demanding converting and manufacturing applications.
