| Product Description | KD2 Series Polyimide Masking Discs are a puncture resistant polyimide film with a silicone adhesive for harsh environment, high temperature insulating and masking applications. The polyimide film is chemical resistant, won't soften at higher temperatures, and offers excellent electrical insulation performance making it highly effective for a variety of applications in the electronics, surface finishing, and industrial industries. The silicone adhesive offers high temperature performance and reduces adhesive transfer which helps to eliminate cleaning, enabling high productivity. Use pre-cut polyimide film discs in the electronics industry during the wave solder or solder dip process to shield gold fingers from the solder material and prevent unwanted electrical connections. |
